L-section is also called the unequal angle steel with different thickness. It is a kind of new material produced in accordance with the needs to build large ships. Except for large ships, L-section can also be used in ocean engineering structure and construction engineering structure of high demands. Main advantages:
● L-section is larger than the bulb flats in section coefficient and stiffness.
● With the same section coefficient, panels of the L-section are a little thinner than the bulb flats, which is helpful to improve the welding quality.
● With the same section coefficient, economic benefit can be improved by increasing the storage.
Process Features
● Welding meets the requirements of marine PSPC welding process
● The ballast tank which aims to improve the ship's navigation performance can reduce the pollution to the marine ecosystem and the corrosion effect to the tank.
